1 best avoid a windy day. Lay the cover along the ridge and roughly centre it in both dimensions
2 unfold the cover down towards the ground rail on each side

3 toggle only the middle of each side, until you have checked all is centred
|

4 each side has 2 lengths of line, and each length does 4 crossings. Thread a line through the fourth eyelet down, till caught by the figure of 8 knot
|

5 then thread through the other eyelets: across, up, across, up, across, up, across
6 finally use the white plastic cleat to tension and lock the line.

|
7 the optional shield protects washing from rain blowing through the tent. Toggle it first to the top lines on each side, passing the toggle twice round the line and twice through the eyelet. Then do the same for the lower eyelets. You can roll and toggle the shield to one side when not in use.
